About us

We, that’s Nina, Danny, Jessi and Jan (LTR), have been friends for several years. Jan was Danny’s apprentice and the professional collaboration quickly turned into a friendship. One of the reasons for this was that we all indulged in the same hobby, namely pen-and-paper role-playing. Soon we had several roleplaying groups together and were always looking for ways to optimize and improve, which eventually led us to the idea for Infinite Realms.

Daniel Marcus, Coding

I’m Danny, 43 years old and have been in the IT industry for over 20 years. I have worked in all areas: Hardware, Software and Service - at Megavoid Studios I take care of programming and product design as a developer.

I got the idea for Infinite Realms together with Jan from our Dungeons & Dragons everyday life as game masters. We want to make the experience of our players as comfortable and appealing as possible and none of the solutions available so far really made us happy. So we got together to design a tabletop system that is maximally flexible and leaves nothing to be desired!

Jan Knehans, Design

I’m Jan, 31 years old and a trained IT specialist for system integration. Always a gamer, pen and paper role-playing games have been part of my life for the last 15 years. Starting with Vampire, I tried out a lot of games, Call of Cthulhu, The Black Eye, Star Trek Adventures, to name just a few. Because of the other three, Dungeons & Dragons has become the most popular game, and Danny and I also came up with the idea for Infinite Realms. For me, a tabletop role-playing game is only really complete with a beautiful map, but when I light a torch in a dark cave, I want to see that too. That’s why I’m responsible for level and programme design.

Nina Marcus, Office

I am Nina and 37 years young. I am a trained insurance saleswoman and have been a passionate role-player since I was 17. In the beginning, my big brother strongly influenced me, for which I am still very grateful to him today. I started with Dungeons and Dragons, but in between I also played Vampire, Shadowrun and Lord of the Rings. My alltime favorite is D&D.

At Infinite Realms I am responsible for the commercial and human resources.

Jessika Knehans, Tech

My name is Jessika and I am 24 years old. By profession I am a trained IT specialist for system integration and therefore responsible for the network, server administration and the website within our company. What brought me to Infinite Realms? - Since I was 15 years old I love to play Dungeons and Dragons. I’ve also tried my hand at Vampire and Cthulu, but to this day my favorite roleplaying system is still D&D. And why should you always just record the cards and not use the technology that is possible nowadays to deepen this feeling while playing even more and to be able to immerse even more into this fantasy world?
